Lead Distribution and Replacement Policy
Last updated: [Month Day, Year]
Template: requires review and customization before publication. Set every highlighted value before selling any campaign. A campaign specification may set different values for that campaign.
1. Distribution types
| Type | Definition |
|---|---|
| Exclusive | Delivered to one designated buyer. Not delivered to any other buyer [for N days / ever] within the stated scope. |
| Shared | May be delivered to up to [N] permitted buyers, only where the consumer disclosure and law permit it. |
2. Valid leads
A lead is valid if it was submitted through the campaign named in the specification and meets the required fields and qualification criteria listed there at the time of submission.
3. Invalid leads
Unless the specification says otherwise, a lead may be disputed as invalid if:
- it is a duplicate: the same consumer (matched by [phone and/or email]) was delivered to the same buyer within [N] days;
- the phone number is disconnected or not in service, or the email address is undeliverable, [as shown by evidence X];
- the location is outside the agreed geography;
- the consumer states they did not submit the inquiry; or
- required fields are missing or clearly fictitious.
4. Not grounds for return
- The consumer did not answer, did not respond, or chose not to buy.
- The consumer was not qualified for the buyer's product under criteria not included in the specification.
- The buyer did not contact the lead within the dispute window.
5. Submitting a dispute
- Submit disputes within [N] days of delivery to [business email] or the method in your specification.
- Include the lead ID, the reason, and supporting evidence such as call records or bounce notices.
- We review disputes within [N] business days and notify you of the outcome.
6. Replacement or credit
Approved disputes receive [a replacement lead / a credit], subject to campaign availability. Approved returns are limited to [N]% of leads delivered per [billing period] unless otherwise agreed. Replacement leads are subject to the same terms as the original.
